Why we started this practice.
We started Accounting Lions because tax season shouldn’t feel like the hardest week of your year. Whether you’re filing a 1040, sorting out a K-1, catching up on a year of rental income, or running the books for a business — you deserve someone who actually reads your email in July, not just in March.
So that’s what we built. A Twin Cities practice serving clients across Minneapolis, St. Paul, and remotely throughout Minnesota — where the same person handles your return, your books, and your questions year after year. Every email gets a real reply within a day. Calls happen on a schedule that works for both of us — often evenings or weekends, never lost in voicemail.

A short call.
30 minutes, no prep. We talk through where you're at and whether we're a fit. Calls are scheduled around your week — evenings and weekends are normal here.
Engagement letter.
A short, no-jargon document — what we'll do, what you'll provide, how it's billed. No 12-page contracts.
We get to work.
Tax: docs to the secure portal, federal and MN filed, e-sign. Bookkeeping: read-only QBO access, books reconciled monthly. Tax season becomes just another month.
